Fruit Pack
Then as an Agripreneur the idea of having a FruitPack App that allows fruits to be ordered via smart phone’s just like how people order other fast foods online, but now with a health touch added.
The App allows farmer to have a resilient supply chain of their perishable produce to reach the final consumer in record time. City dwellers will be come exposed to a catalogue of fresh fruits that will change the consumption in the balanced diet of a typical African household.
Farmers can prepare and publish their future harvest to consumers and plan the distribution in advance. Selection and exposure to different fruits that are seasonally available but to be made available all year round.
A small start up team consisting of two developers, two marketing and distribution individuals who are key members of the FruitPack App venture. Then already operational delivery partners who can collect the orders from a proxy fruit-shop to the final consumer.
An expected return on investment of R770 000 000/USD42 679 425 per annum for the companies’ shareholders when the product is in full use within all South Africa’s 9 provinces. Indeed, operational and scaling costs will need to be factored in as the entity grows.
